Melbourne Filmoteca Documentary

Melbourne Filmoteca has existed for over 20 years to bring Latin American and Spanish films to the heart of Melbourne, Australia. This 15-minute documentary film explores the journey of the organisation and its impact on Melbourne's culture and people highlighting the passion of the people involved. Directed, filmed and edited by Diana and premiered in 2019 in ACMI cinemas.

How does a not-for-profit organisation survive for 20 years? 
Doing the research to make this documentary, I found the key element for the creation and ongoing operation of Melbourne Filmoteca. It was intriguing to me to understand what has driven volunteers throughout the years to join and work unconditionally for the organisation.
